Mark Dorset is an unaffiliated academic who specializes in human motivation. He is a longtime friend of Peter Leroy, whose memoirs, The Personal History, Adventures, Experiences & Observations of Peter Leroy, are a voluminous work of fiction by Eric Kraft.

ABOUT THIS WORK
Because Eric Kraft has a powerful reluctance to write about himself and his work, he has enlisted Mark Dorset to do it for him. In Risking the Ridiculous, Dorset will explore Kraft's motivations and methods, seeking the facts that underlie the fictions. He will begin with recent work, but eventually he will jump back to the initial conception of the Personal History and work his way forward to the present state of that work.
